Safety kits tested to stop autism wandering and ease caregiver stress

Summary
This study tested special safety kits designed to help prevent children with autism from wandering or dashing away from safe places. Caregivers of 65 children tried the kits and reported how useful the items were over 3 months, and whether the kits helped reduce their stress. The goal was to gather feedback to help build a larger prevention program.
