Summary
This study aims to test and validate an Italian version of a special assessment tool for adults with autism who are involved with the criminal justice system. Researchers will enroll 100 adults with autism from three groups: those in forensic psychiatric care, those in prison, and those in community mental health services with no criminal history. The goal is to see if this tool can help experts better understand how autism relates to criminal responsibility and judicial decisions.
