Ear acupressure may soothe breast pain in C-Section moms

NCT ID NCT07561099

First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether pressing specific points on the ear (auricular acupressure) plus basic breast care can reduce pain and lumpiness from blocked milk ducts in women who had a C-section. About 66 new mothers will receive either real acupressure or a sham version for 3 days, along with standard care like warm compresses and massage. The goal is to see if the ear treatment provides extra relief without side effects.
