First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested a noninvasive brain stimulation technique called Auditory Control Enhancement (ACE) to help people with schizophrenia who still hear voices despite medication. Twelve participants received either real or fake (sham) stimulation during cognitive training. The goal was to see if ACE is acceptable and can change brain activity linked to auditory hallucinations.
