New knee implant tested for toughest replacement surgeries

NCT ID NCT03153449

Summary

This study is testing a specialized knee replacement system designed for patients with complex arthritis. It's for people who need a total knee replacement but have severe bone deformities, joint instability, or a high body weight that makes surgery more challenging. Researchers will follow 400 patients for five years to see how well the implant works for daily activities, pain relief, and long-term durability.
