New drug begins human testing for relief from severe itching

Summary
This is the first human study of an experimental drug called ATTO1310. Researchers want to see if it's safe and how it moves through the body in healthy volunteers and people with atopic dermatitis (eczema) or chronic itching. The study will compare the drug to a placebo (inactive substance) and track any side effects.
