Eye drop trial aims to halt severe vision loss in kids after cataract surgery

NCT ID NCT07364370

Summary

This study will test if a low-dose atropine eye drop can slow down or prevent severe nearsightedness in young children who have had cataract surgery. It will involve 50 children aged 1 to 7. The goal is to find a more affordable and accessible way to protect these children's long-term vision compared to expensive lens implants.
