Summary

This study is a registry that will follow 2000 people with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) who are taking long-term blood thinners. The goal is to track how often serious bleeding or heart problems like stroke or heart attack occur. Researchers hope to better understand the risks and benefits of these medications to guide safer treatment.
