New heart procedure tested for stubborn irregular heartbeat

NCT ID NCT07428564

Summary

This study is testing how well a new pulsed-field ablation system works for treating persistent atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heartbeat that lasts over a week. Researchers will enroll 50 participants to measure procedure times, how effectively the treatment isolates problematic heart veins, and monitor for any safety issues. The goal is to understand the workflow and safety of this updated medical device and software.
