New Heart-Zapping catheter tested for common rhythm problem

NCT ID NCT06056557

Summary

This study tested a new, flexible catheter that uses pulsed electrical energy to treat atrial fibrillation and related irregular heart rhythms. It involved 141 adults who were already scheduled for a standard ablation procedure. The goal was to see if this tool was safe and effective for a wider range of patients, including those with more complex conditions or who needed a repeat procedure.
