Summary
This study tests two heart procedures for people with persistent atrial fibrillation (AFib) and scarred heart tissue. Participants are randomly assigned to either standard vein isolation or standard isolation plus additional ablation of scarred areas. The goal is to see which approach better prevents irregular heart rhythms for at least 12 months without needing medication.
