Major heart study aims to predict who needs a second ablation

NCT ID NCT07185412

Summary

This study aims to learn from real-world experience with a newer heart procedure called pulsed field ablation (PFA) for atrial fibrillation (AFib). It will follow 1,100 patients in Spain for one year after their standard-care PFA procedure. The main goal is to identify up to ten factors—from patient details to how the first procedure was done—that predict whether a patient will need a second procedure to control their irregular heartbeat.
