Heart rhythm fix: testing simpler vs. High-Tech approaches
NCT ID NCT07118046
Summary
This study compares two different guidance methods for a heart procedure that treats atrial fibrillation, an irregular heartbeat. Researchers want to see if using a simpler X-ray-only approach works as well as adding more detailed 3D mapping technology. Participants will have their heart rhythm treated with a balloon-based procedure and then return about a month later to check how well the treatment held up.
