Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether the drug atrasentan can slow kidney function loss in 404 people with IgA nephropathy, a kidney disease that can lead to kidney failure. Participants receive either atrasentan or a placebo, and researchers measure changes in protein in the urine and kidney function over time. The goal is to see if atrasentan can help preserve kidney health and delay the need for more aggressive treatments.
