Scientists test eczema pill absorption with and without food

NCT ID NCT07172321

Summary

This early study tested how a potential eczema medicine moves through the body when made in different forms (fast-release vs. slow-release pills). Researchers gave 12 healthy adults five different versions of the pill, some with food and some without, to see which formula is absorbed best. The results will help decide which version to use in future studies for people with atopic dermatitis (eczema).
