New stick treatment tested for common foot fungus
NCT ID NCT07245667
Summary
This study is testing a new, easy-to-apply stick version of an existing antifungal medicine (tolnaftate 1%) for treating athlete's foot. Researchers aim to see if this new delivery method is safe and can completely clear the fungal infection within 4 weeks. The trial will involve about 150 people aged 16 and older who have a confirmed case of athlete's foot.
