Immunotherapy-Chemo combo trial aims to extend lives in Tough-to-Treat lung cancer
NCT ID NCT05470595
Summary
This study is testing whether adding the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab to standard chemotherapy helps people with advanced large-cell neuroendocrine lung cancer live longer. It involves 67 adults with this specific cancer who haven't had prior treatment for their advanced disease. The main goal is to see if this combination improves survival compared to what's expected with chemotherapy alone.
