New drug combo shows promise for rare bile duct cancer

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs, atezolizumab and derazantinib, in 27 adults with advanced bile duct cancer that has a specific FGFR2 gene change. The goal is to see if the treatment can shrink tumors and control the disease. Participants receive the drugs intravenously and by mouth, and are monitored for side effects and tumor response every 8 weeks.
