New hope to stop deadly clots in High-Risk surgeries
NCT ID NCT04918173
Summary
This study is testing a medication called Atenativ to see if it can safely prevent dangerous blood clots in people with a rare inherited condition that makes them prone to clotting. It focuses on adults who need high-risk surgery or are about to give birth, as these events greatly increase their clot risk. The main goal is to see how many clots occur while patients are protected by this treatment.
