First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study will test a 16% carbamide peroxide gel used at home in custom trays for 90 minutes daily over six weeks. Ten adults with healthy gums and no prior whitening will have their tooth color measured by a special device and report how their quality of life changes. The goal is to see if this simple whitening routine effectively lightens teeth and boosts well-being.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could confirm an effective at-home whitening method that improves both tooth color and quality of life.
