Summary
This study compared two types of custom-made trays used for at-home teeth whitening. Forty adults used either an Essix-type retainer or a Vivera retainer with the same whitening gel for four weeks. Researchers measured how satisfied patients were with each tray, how well they whitened teeth, and whether they caused tooth sensitivity or gum irritation.
