First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether making tiny, precise cuts on the cornea (called arcuate incisions) during cataract surgery, combined with a special lens that can be adjusted with light after surgery, can better correct astigmatism. About 60 adults with astigmatism will take part. The goal is to see how many lens adjustments are needed and how much astigmatism remains after healing.
