Summary

This study looked at whether a person's muscle strength can help doctors choose the right inhaler for asthma. 80 newly diagnosed asthma patients were randomly given either a dry powder inhaler or a metered dose inhaler. Researchers measured lung function, breathing muscle strength, and handgrip strength at the start and after one month to see which device worked better for different people.
