New generic asthma inhaler put to the test in major trial

NCT ID NCT07223294

Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: Sandoz Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study aims to see if a new, more affordable generic version of a common asthma inhaler works just as well and is as safe as the original brand-name product. It will involve about 1,430 adults with asthma who will use one of the inhalers or a placebo (dummy treatment) for four weeks. Researchers will measure how well the participants' lungs work to compare the two inhalers.
