Simple blood test could be key to fewer asthma attacks

NCT ID NCT07486401

Summary

This study is testing if using a specific blood test (eosinophil count) to guide treatment decisions works better than standard care for adults with mild to moderate asthma. Researchers will compare the two approaches in about 240 patients over a year to see if the blood-test-guided approach leads to fewer severe asthma flare-ups, better symptom control, and improved quality of life.
