Summary

This study compared two medicines, dexamethasone (given by IV) and prednisolone (taken by mouth), to see which works better for children aged 2 to 12 having an asthma attack. 224 children took part. The researchers used a breathing score called PRAM to measure how severe the asthma was. The goal was to find out which treatment helps children recover faster.
