Doctors surveyed as C-Section rates soar in egypt
NCT ID NCT07308977
Summary
This study aims to understand why doctors in Egypt are performing fewer assisted vaginal births (using tools like forceps or vacuum) and more C-sections, especially during the final stage of labor. Researchers will survey 150 experienced obstetricians at three major hospitals to identify the main obstacles, such as lack of training or patient preference. The goal is to gather information that could help increase safe assisted births and reduce unnecessary C-sections.
