Summary

This large study aims to find out if taking a daily low-dose aspirin pill can safely prevent future major heart and stroke events in people who have survived a brain bleed stroke. It will involve over 5,600 survivors in India, who will be randomly assigned to take either aspirin or a placebo (dummy pill) for up to three years. The goal is to see if the benefits of preventing clots outweigh the risks of causing another bleed.
