Summary
This study tests a program called ASPEN that teaches parents of young children with autism (ages 18 months to 6 years) how to use simple strategies at home to improve their child's social communication and behavior. The program includes 12 sessions with a clinician and a peer leader. The goal is to help children develop better skills and reduce parent stress. The study involves 320 families from low-resource communities.
