Summary
This study tested a new oral medication called asciminib for adults with chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) who had already tried at least two other standard treatments. It specifically included patients with a hard-to-treat genetic mutation (T315I). The main goals were to check the drug's safety and see how well it controlled the leukemia over time.
