New weight loss pill shows promise in Mid-Stage trial
NCT ID NCT07002905
Summary
This study tested two versions of an experimental pill called ASC30 to see if it helps people with obesity or overweight lose weight. About 125 adults took either the real pill or a placebo (sugar pill) for 13 weeks. Researchers measured changes in body weight, waist size, and safety to see if the treatment was effective and well-tolerated.
