First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study is a registry that will follow 5,000 people who had a heart attack (acute myocardial infarction) and were treated at Asan Medical Center in Korea. The goal is to see how they do over the long term, including whether they survive, have another heart attack, or need additional procedures. No new treatments are being tested; instead, researchers will observe outcomes from standard care like medication, stents, or bypass surgery.
