New cholesterol drug artisterol put to the test in global trial

Summary

This study tests whether a new drug called Artisterol can lower LDL (bad) cholesterol in adults with mildly high levels. About 106 participants will take either Artisterol or a placebo daily for 3 months, with clinic visits every 6 weeks. The main goal is to see how much Artisterol reduces LDL cholesterol compared to a placebo.
