New implant aims to stop Men's bladder leaks

NCT ID NCT06968741

Summary

This study is testing a new implantable device called UrOActive® that acts like an artificial urinary sphincter to help men with stress urinary incontinence. The device is designed to give men better control over bladder leaks that happen during activities like coughing, sneezing, or exercise. Researchers will measure if the implant reduces leakage by at least 50% in participants six months after activation.
