New artificial disc aims to replace neck fusion surgery
NCT ID NCT04982835
Summary
This study is testing a new artificial disc designed to replace two worn-out discs in the neck. It compares this new device to the standard surgery, which fuses the bones together. The goal is to see if the artificial disc is as safe and effective as fusion at relieving severe neck and arm pain while potentially preserving more natural neck movement.
