Summary

This study looked at whether making specific mouth shapes (articulatory gestures) helps 4-year-olds learn to read and break words into sounds. Nine children who knew at least 15 letter names took part. The goal was to see if adding mouth movements to letter and sound training works better than just practicing letters and sounds alone.
