Art sessions spark hope for schizophrenia recovery
NCT ID NCT07453355
Summary
This study tested whether a special art therapy program could help build hope in people hospitalized with schizophrenia. Fifty patients were randomly assigned to either join an eight-session creative arts group or receive standard hospital care alone. The results showed that participants in the art therapy group reported significantly greater improvements in their sense of hope, outlook on the future, and feelings of connection.
