Can coloring calm fears for High-Risk moms?

NCT ID NCT06716710

Summary

This study tested whether a simple art activity could help reduce stress and fear in pregnant women hospitalized for high-risk conditions. Researchers had 149 women either participate in a mandala coloring program alongside their regular medical care or receive only medical care. They measured levels of pregnancy stress, general anxiety, and fear of childbirth before and after the four-week activity period to see if the coloring made a difference.
