Double radiation attack aims to stop prostate cancer bone breaks

Summary
This study tests whether adding a precise, one-time radiation dose to standard radioactive therapy can reduce bone problems (like fractures) in men with advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy. About 120 men will be randomly assigned to receive either standard treatment alone or standard treatment plus the extra targeted radiation. The goal is to see if the combination is safer and more effective at controlling the disease.
