Summary

This study tests a new, child-friendly version of the medicine praziquantel (arpraziquantel) to treat schistosomiasis in preschool-aged children (2 to 5 years old) in Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire, and Uganda. The goal is to see how well different distribution methods work to reach these children through existing public health programs. About 18,500 children will receive the medicine, and researchers will track coverage, feasibility, and safety to inform future large-scale use.
