First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether aromatherapy (lavender oil) or music therapy (calming music) can reduce anxiety in 100 children having their first dental X-ray. Children will be randomly placed into one of four groups: aromatherapy only, music only, both, or standard care. Their anxiety will be measured using a simple face scale and heart rate before and after the procedure.
