NCT ID NCT07542665

First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether aromatherapy (lavender oil) or music therapy can lower anxiety in children getting their first dental X-ray. About 100 kids will be randomly placed into one of four groups: aromatherapy only, music only, both, or standard care. Their anxiety will be measured using a picture scale and heart rate before and after the procedure. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to make dental visits less scary for children.
