Surgery arm position linked to eye pressure changes

NCT ID NCT07424417

Summary

This study looked at whether different arm positions during hernia surgery with spinal anesthesia affect pressure inside the eye. Researchers measured eye pressure in 105 adult patients who were randomly assigned to have their arms in one of three positions during surgery. The goal was to gather information that might help doctors understand how surgical positioning affects eye health.
