Virtual escape from the Dentist's chair: can tech calm your nerves?
NCT ID NCT07398898
Summary
This study is testing whether new technology can make dental visits less stressful. Researchers want to see if wearing augmented reality glasses that show relaxing scenes or noise-cancelling headphones playing calming music can reduce anxiety in adults during common dental procedures. About 250 participants will be randomly assigned to use one of these devices or receive no special intervention, while their stress levels are measured with questionnaires and sensors.
