Virtual reality vs. dental fear: can tech calm your nerves?
NCT ID NCT07398898
Summary
This study is testing whether new technology can help adults feel less anxious during dental visits. Researchers are comparing augmented reality glasses that show relaxing scenes, noise-cancelling headphones playing music, and no special technology to see which helps most. They will measure anxiety using questionnaires and sensors that track stress levels like heart rate during the dental procedure.
