Water therapy shows promise for helping autistic children move and play
NCT ID NCT05123066
Summary
This study tested whether exercise in a pool (aquatic training) works better than exercises on land for improving movement skills in young children with autism. Researchers worked with 40 children aged 3 to 5 years who have mild to moderate autism. They measured changes in motor development, autism-related behaviors, and quality of life to see which type of exercise was more helpful.
