Could pool therapy ease debilitating POTS symptoms?

NCT ID NCT07182578

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a 12-week aquatic therapy program can help reduce symptoms and improve quality of life for people with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Twelve English-speaking adults with POTS will participate in water-based occupational therapy sessions three times per week. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms, heart rate, balance, and daily functioning to see if this approach is helpful and practical.
