NCT ID NCT06720974
First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 41 times
Summary
This study explores whether doing balance exercises in water can help older adults avoid falls. Falls are a major cause of injury in people over 65, and traditional land-based training can cause fear or joint pain. The study will include 15 older adults who have had falls or balance issues, and they will train twice a week for six weeks. Researchers will measure how practical and acceptable the water-based training is, and how it affects balance, mobility, and quality of life.
