New hope for transplant patients with devastating gut rejection?

NCT ID NCT05415410

Summary

This study tested a drug called apraglutide for patients with a severe complication after a stem cell transplant called graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). It focused on patients whose gut GVHD did not improve with standard steroid treatment. The trial aimed to see if adding apraglutide to their current therapy was safe and could help control the disease.
