Summary
This study tested whether an Apple Watch can help detect atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) faster in people at high risk. 436 adults aged 65 and older with no prior diagnosis of the condition wore an Apple Watch to monitor their heart rhythm. The goal was to see if the watch could catch the problem sooner than standard methods.
